Ever since I was little I've always wanted to be a lawyer. The only problem is, all throughout high school I didn't think I could actually do it. Because of that, I took a year off from college after I graduated. I found a full-time job, and tried to 'find myself' which I have since learned that I was never lost to begin with.

After my first semester, and first criminal justice class, I realized that a Criminal Justice major is for people that want to be police officers, corrections officers, and so forth. Not lawyers. This discovery was much to my relief because the criminal justice class I took was terrible. A cop with absolutely no education training was our teacher, and he wasn't the best. That being said, he was a pretty cool dude.
Another awesome discovery I found was that a common major for successful lawyers was English. I am great at English!!! It's always been my greatest subject in school, and it's something that I excel at. You can only imagine how excited I am! Another popular major for lawyers is philosophy and journalism. So, I decided that I'm going to major in English, and double minor in journalism and Spanish. Woot woot, yay for me.
Right now I am attending Florida Atlantic University, and I plan on finishing my degree here. Where do I want to go to law school? Well of course I'm aiming as high as I can go, such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and so on. But don't worry, while I have high hopes for myself academically, I am also realistic in my goals, and I have a number of other law school options that are just as good as the top 3.
When you decide on a career, you also decide on many back-up careers in case your mind changes. Something that would be super awesome to do would be a medical examiner. I'd have to go to medical school, and that thought kind of makes me cringe. It's not that I can't do it, but I think it would definitely be a challenge.
There's my career plan, and I definitely plan to achieve my goals.
