When one door opens, 2 more close

After my first full day as a PetSmart cashier I have realized a couple of things. 1. I am severely out of shape after working a desk job the last 2 years. Just being on my feet for 8 hours was a huge change for me. 2. I can't help but think that I downgraded a little. I went from working 40 hours a week making 11.85 an hour answering phones, to working less than 30 hours a week making 9 an hour being a cashier.
The problem is I actually like working in customer service and interacting with new people on a daily basis. I get to see so many faces and hear so many stories. A huge perk of working at PetSmart is I get to see dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages. I know for sure that I cannot pay my bills working at PetSmart, which brings me to a dilemma. I have classes starting August 22nd, Monday through Thursday 5pm-8:30pm. That puts a severe hamper on when I can work at my cashier job.
Now, this wasn't an issue when I was working at the law office. Which I absolutely loved. After a month of working there they decided to get rid of my position all together. They no longer needed me. Devastated as I was, life moves on. I had already been hired on at PetSmart so at least I had a little safety but they were really dicking around getting everything official.
I'm still hoping to get a job to fill the space left by my law office job, since I had pretty much planned my whole semester around it. Not to mention, I've racked up a pretty hefty credit card bill just moving here to Florida. Things will even out eventually but I'm going to have to bust my ass to get caught up.
There's not 1 job left on Indeed.com that I haven't applied for. But, I'm overqualified for some things, and underqualified for the good jobs. As of yet I'm waiting on a couple of call backs before I tell PetSmart I need to work full time.
If I said the stress wasn't getting to me, I'd be flat out lying. Not only is it affecting me emotionally, but it's affecting me physically too. I'm waiting for the right door to open for me, but it looks like I might have to open a few for myself.
