Trial run

20 year old white female. Seems pretty stereotypical of me to be writing a blog, right? Well there are many reasons why I chose to create a blog. Being able to express yourself freely is not only good for the mind, but for the body and soul also. I am always looking for ways to better myself, I mean, who isn't these days? As an English major, writing to different types of audiences will help me refine my skills.

I'm not sure if i'll actually stick to the blog, because not only am I a full time student but I work 2 jobs as well. So this could be something of a trial run if you will. Followers and blog-readers don't matter to me particularly, I am just wanting a place to be able to express myself however I please.

After creating this page, the first issue I have run into is the design. Now, design is not really my thing. It's a running issue in my life and if I had wanted to become an interior designer, I would probably be the worst one out there. It's not just a skill, you have to have an eye for it. Every little detail has to work. There are some pretty good blog layout templates out there, but I am wanting to tailor it to my tastes. That might not be the best thing in my case.

This will probably be my most disorganized blog post. I promise I will  try to be better.
